For Therapists In Kenya

Partner With
CognitaSTEM

Audiologists, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists: your clients spend most of their week in a classroom. CognitaSTEM puts your recommendations into that classroom, into their lessons, AI tutors and home practice, and brings their practice results back to you.

Three Ways To Work With Us

TRY IT WITH YOUR CLIENTS

Sign up free as a teacher, tick Inclusive Instructor on your profile, connect a client, and send them practice between sessions. You see every try and best score.

REFER FAMILIES AND SCHOOLS

Point families to the free traits screener and to classroom supports, so the school puts your recommendations into the learner's daily lessons.

BUILD THE NEXT TOOLS WITH US

Help us shape the tools still in development, especially for audiology, and check our word banks and wording against your practice.

For Speech And Language Therapists

  • A speech assessment from one read-aloud passage: counted facts (word accuracy, words per minute, substitutions) kept separate from the interpretation, with an editable transcript.
  • An articulation ladder for R, L, S, T, K, F, G and D, from the sound on its own to conversation, moving up and down on measured accuracy by rules you can read.
  • 87 listen-then-say exercises from first sounds to short speeches; the microphone opens only after the learner has heard the model.
  • Sound pairs: hand-written minimal pairs across 10 contrasts (R/W, S/SH, T/K, voicing and more), to hear and to say, in rounds of 10.
  • Caseload, therapy plans, challenges with a set number of tries, a communication board and social stories you review before the learner sees them.

For Occupational Therapists

  • Fine and gross motor ladders and handwriting analysis.
  • Daily-living routines with prompt fading, visual schedules, sensory profiles that suggest classroom adjustments, sensory breaks and a calm space.
  • Classroom supports for the learner's teachers: a calmer screen, movement breaks, extra time and plain guidance for the room.

For Audiologists

Today, CognitaSTEM gives the learners you fit a listening game (closed-set word identification in four graded levels, in quiet) with a Ling six-sound checklist the adult says aloud, and the classroom side: lessons read aloud, key words kept in view, visual supports from the AI tutors, and speech practice that models every word before asking for it.

The rest of audiology is where we most want a partner: device checks, listening in noise and audiogram explainers for families and teachers. We would like to build them with practising audiologists, so they are right before learners use them.

Privacy And Clinical Honesty

  • Screening results belong to the parent. Only the people they choose can see them, and they can withdraw a share or delete everything at any time.
  • A learner's clinical profile is visible only to the practitioner who keeps it. The supports that teachers see contain no clinical detail.
  • Nothing on CognitaSTEM diagnoses. Measured results and AI interpretation are always shown apart, and inferred measures are labelled as inferred.

Questions

Is CognitaSTEM a replacement for therapy?

No. It carries your plan into the learner's classroom and home practice and reports back to you. Assessment, diagnosis and clinical decisions stay with you.

How do I start?

Sign up free and choose Teacher as your role, then tick Inclusive Instructor on your profile and connect a client. Their practice, tries and scores appear in your speech therapy workspace.

Does it work in Kiswahili?

The speech tools work in English today. We would welcome partners to help us build Kiswahili word banks and passages.

Which syllabus do the lessons follow?

CognitaSTEM teaches from any syllabus a school uses, so your client stays in step with their own class.
